In May 12, 2017,The Maxwellon Fiber Auto Monitoring Manage System (FAMMS) was successfully tested and accepted in Shanghai.

The Fiber Auto Monitoring Manage System (FAMMS) is a set of smart system for optical cable network management and maintenance. This system consists of multiple different remote control test units, a central monitoring server, and relevant software UIs. FAMMS can be used to conduct unattended monitoring of complete optical cable loss, remote monitoring and management, and analysis and prediction of optical fiber features. Real-time association alarm test and periodic test can be preformed for the optical fiber by using the TCP/IP network. The time of optical cable monitoring and periodic test can be flexibly set (for example, once every 30 min, once every hour, or once every day). FAMMS reports the analyzed optical fiber status to the central system in time, and the central system provides automated optical fiber maintenance management functions, for example, sending alarm information immediately. In addition, FAMMS provides the functions of setting and modifying RTU parameters.
